KAPSOM Completes Equipment Shipment for Australia Project

KAPSOM completed all equipment shipments for Australia’s Good Earth Green Hydrogen and Ammonia (GEGHA) project in late September 2026, including the core ammonia synthesis skid. This milestone moves KAPSOM’s scope from manufacturing and dispatch towards on-site installation and commissioning.

KAPSOM’s green ammonia unit has a production capacity of 5,000 tonnes per annum. Following equipment arrival, installation and commissioning will prepare the system for operation, with project start-up scheduled for early 2027.

Located near Moree, New South Wales, adjacent to the Wathagar cotton ginning facility, GEGHA is being developed by Hiringa Energy and Sundown Pastoral Company. The integrated solar-to-hydrogen-and-ammonia project will supply locally produced fertiliser and renewable fuel, supporting cotton farming and wider agricultural decarbonisation.

For KAPSOM, the shipment marks an important step towards demonstrating modular green ammonia production in a commercial agricultural setting. Connecting renewable energy with local fertiliser demand offers a practical pathway to reduce emissions and strengthen regional supply chains.

KAPSOM thanks everyone involved in the project for their dedication and collaboration. Their efforts have brought GEGHA closer to operation—and green ammonia closer to everyday agricultural use.
