KAPSOM Supports the World’s First Commercial E-Methanol Plant
In Denmark, Advancing Global Power-to-X Deployment
Kassø Project Marks a Major Milestone for the Energy Transition

The world's first commercial e-methanol plant in Kassø, Denmark has officially moved from blueprint to stable, industrial-scale operation. This achievement represents a new chapter in the global transition toward clean fuels. As one of the project's core equipment suppliers, KAPSOM completed the design and manufacturing of key systems within ten months, providing essential support for the project’s successful commissioning.
Growing Global Recognition Across Media and Industry
Since the Kassø plant entered full-scale production, its influence has continued to expand.

The BBC, in its series on the future of global energy, highlighted the e-methanol facility and introduced green methanol to a wider global audience. KAPSOM’s engineering contribution became part of the real-world evidence supporting this emerging zero-carbon pathway.
The project was also featured in the first Global Hydrogen Compass 2025, jointly published by the Hydrogen Council and McKinsey. Identified as one of the first wave of mature clean hydrogen projects worldwide, Kassø's inclusion underscores a significant moment for KAPSOM's technology development and execution capability.
Momentum around the project is also extending into mainstream media. Bloomberg's environmental documentary series An Optimist's Guide to the Planet, hosted by Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, visited the facility to explore the cost, scalability, and applications of green methanol across the value chain.
These perspectives highlight how KAPSOM's e-methanol solutions are helping turn zero-carbon technologies into practical industrial reality.

"Creating a Sustainable, Carbon-Free Life" and "Pioneering Zero-Carbon Tech Innovation" are not slogans for KAPSOM—they reflect the core principles guiding our long-term development. Driven by this mission, we continue to advance Power-to-X technologies and support the deployment of green methanol, green ammonia, and other clean-energy solutions.
At present, KAPSOM is working with partners across the world—including India, Namibia, Australia, Colombia, Norway, and Denmark—to accelerate the global energy transition and bring green power solutions to more communities.
