KAPSOM Ships Equipment for Australia Project

KAPSOM Ships Equipment for Australia Project

First Equipment Batch Ships for GEGHA Project

The first batch of equipment for KAPSOM’s 5,000-tonne-per-annum (TPA) modular green ammonia plant has begun its journey to Australia, marking an important milestone in the delivery of the GEGHA project.

Following months of engineering, fabrication, assembly and testing, the equipment successfully completed final acceptance procedures and was cleared for shipment. It has now departed KAPSOM’s manufacturing facility and is on its way to the project site in New South Wales.

The plant’s modular configuration allows major equipment and systems to be fabricated, integrated and tested before delivery. This approach helps streamline on-site installation and commissioning while improving quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

Further equipment batches will be shipped in stages as the delivery program progresses. Each shipment will bring the project closer to installation, commissioning and eventual operation.

Once operational, the 5,000 TPA plant is expected to support the production of low-carbon fertilizer for Australia’s cotton farming sector. By connecting modular green ammonia production with local agricultural demand, the GEGHA project aims to demonstrate a practical pathway for reducing fertilizer-related emissions while strengthening the resilience of regional supply chains.

The shipment represents another step forward for KAPSOM’s modular green ammonia technology and its application in Australia’s emerging low-carbon agriculture sector.
